Diocesan Support An opportunity for learning with your peers
The Chancery Staff would like to offer support opportunities in addition to the annual Diocesan Support Day:
The Parish Staff Orientation Day is designed for new staff to become familiar with diocesan resources, policies and procedures used by parishes. Orientation will be held August 23 at the chancery. The deadline to register is August 11.
Invitation/Registration for Orientation
_______________________________________________________________________________. Hands-on Software Training at the chancery would be provided to parish and school staff one day a week from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on a specific topic. A fee may be needed to cover the cost of training materials. Due to software licensing and compatibility issues, computers would be provided for use at the chancery. Class sizes would be kept to a maximum of ten participants.
Note: The chancery will be moving to Microsoft Office 2007 this fall. Documents will be saved in the 2003 format until all parishes and schools have installed a free patch to read documents saved in the 2007 format. Eventually, all parishes and schools will need to be using Office 2007.
