Are You Being Called to the Diaconate?
For those who might be interested in exploring a vocation to the diaconate, please note that we are scheduled to begin the inquiry process for our next deacon formation class, Class VII, in the summer of 2011.

Retreats
Day of Reflection: October 23, 2010
Fr. Marty Goetz will facilitate a Day of Reflection for the deacons and their wives on Saturday, October 23, at St. Mary in Riverside. Our day together will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 2 p.m.
Deacon & Spouse Retreat: October 14-16, 2011
Our annual retreat will take place at The Lodge in Bettendorf and our retreat director will be Deacon Joseph Michalak, Director of Deacon Formation for the Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis.

Ministry Worksheet The worksheet is intended to clarify mutual expectations between the deacon and pastor, to aid in the collaborative ministry of the deacon in the parish and community, and to keep our bishop informed as to diaconal ministry in the diocese.
