Alysson Riutta of Catholic Relief Services will introduce CRS's Lead the Way on Hunger campaign to raise awareness and take action to help those who will suffer the most from this global pandemic: migrants and refugees, communities that lack access to enough food and nutrition and people living in poverty. She'll also discuss the network of CRS Chapters forming to mobilize Catholics and others of goodwill to end global poverty.
Alysson, Volunteer Manager of the Midwest Region for CRS, recently moved to the Des Moines area after working with CRS in Honduras and Guatemala as an International Development Fellow. She empowers CRS volunteers across the Midwest region as advocates to engage with Congress and their local communities on behalf of the poor and vulnerable around the world.
