Was founded in 1980 during El Salvador's civil war by a Cleveland Diocese Mission Team, known as the COAR Pease Mission. COAR (The Community Oscar Arnulfo Romero) in Zaragoza, El Salvador is a foster care facility for 50-100 children (infants - high school) that wants to provide all the knowledge, faith, and love to make them successful citizens and Christians. In El Salvador the children attend a parish school, receive on-site medical and dental treatment, and are care for by knowledgeable staff of local Salvadorian teachers. 100% of the MCP funds raised will go to the COAR children.
