New MISAL ROMANO

The Spanish translation of the 3^rd edition of the Roman Missal for use in the US has been approved and is in the process of being published. The ritual books should be available on May 1, 2018. The date of first use is May 19, 2018 (Pentecost Vigil) and the mandatory use date is the First Sunday of Advent: December 2, 2018. Click here to visit our webpage on the Misal Romano.

The FDLC is honored to be participating in the formation which will enable clergy, musicians and all the faithful to receive the Misal Romano, tercera edición with greater understanding. The model schedule for the regional workshops will be an afternoon session for clergy and parish leadership followed (that same day) by an evening session for musicians. Resources are also being prepared for the faithful.  They include a booklet of multiple articles (in English and Spanish) which can be used in various ways in the parish—as bulletin inserts, homily helps, handouts in adult education sessions, RCIA, parent meetings, etc.  Online videos and chant recordings are also being prepared.
