If the school accepts the student, the information will be shared with our diocesan PDSO.
The school will issue an acceptance letter.
Families should plan on 2 or more years at our diocesan schools.
The diocesan PDSO will issue the I-20 and email to the student.
Use the SEVIS No. in the top left corner of the I-20 to set your consulate appointment.
There will be fees set by your consulate for interview, etc.
Once interview is approved, inform the diocesan PDSO and the school advisor.
All "host families" have to go through our background screening process.
Application Deadlines
Applying for the fall semester, deadline is July 15th to file and pass the interview to arrive no later than August 1st.
Applying for the spring semester, deadline is December 15th to file and pass the interview to arrive no later than Jan 3rd.
Transferring the I-20 to another F-1 School:
You must meet the requirements and pay unpaid fees before a transfer will be generated.
Verify the transfer school is a SEVP-certified school by checking the website.
You have to provide the diocesan PDSO with the acceptance letter and completed form from the new school.
Transfer Packet is required and submitted to the diocesan PDSO.
The release date is shared with the new PDSO and usually the date of graduation. *The new school will issue the new I-20 and that will be used in the future.
